I of The Tiger
A Self Discovery Experience To Encourage You
To Step Into Your Power
Creativity and self expression are passions for Wendy, both in her personal and professional life. As a leader in the field of soul embodied movement, she incorporates re-connecting to Nature in her ‘playshops’ with a focus on trees, plants, seeds, animals and more. Her art also reflects this deep connection to beauty, creativity and the natural environment. Over the years she has developed a holistic approach to exercise that integrates various movement forms, helping others find the JOY of moving their ‘own body’s way’ with the NIA Technique. (See http://www.nianow.com). Wendy received her BFA in Art Education from The University of Hartford Art School in West Hartford, CT and her Certificate of Graduate Studies in the Expressive & Creative Arts from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
As the former Education Director of The Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon, CT, her specialty was facilitating self-expression with children. Today she facilitates adult groups with holistic arts experiences that soothe the soul. Those who experience her FUN classes benefit from her wisdom, enthusiasm, creativity and passion!. Additionally she is a Certified Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, Herbologist and organic horticulturist. Wendy can be reached at: firstname.lastname@example.org

“I would encourage any of the business people I coach to go through the exercises in Wendy’s “I of the Tiger”. Especially the business men who find themselves in need of a business breakthrough without the apparent resources necessary to achieve same. Wendy offers ways to tap into inner creativity and resources that we don’t realize that we have.”
Richard Rosen, Strategic Marketing Consultant, The Rainmaker Institute.
“No one knows better than Wendy Rappaport how to combine creativity and spirit to tap inner resource. As an educator of children and adults, a free dance teacher and practitioner, and a bright life light as well as a student of Zen practice and spirit, the author is singularly gifted. Her mantra is based in the value of freedom and self expression. Working with Rappaport at the Farmington Valley Arts Center, we understood each other well and supported self expression and self discovery. I recommend this book as a great way to find oneself and have some fun.”
Betty Friedman, Retired Executive Director of the Farmington Valley Arts Center, Avon, CT
“Wendy Rappaport has tapped into the powerful and playful nature of tigers to guide individuals on a journey of self exploration and discovery. ‘I of The Tiger’ is an engaging experiential guide to discovering your hidden tiger, your powerful self. It is an easy to follow guide for young and not so young, by themselves or in groups. The lessons are thought provoking and resonate deeply, remaining long after the activities end. As an artist, teacher, mentor and guide, Wendy has motivated incarcerated women to find their truer selves.”
